MEDiSURG: DELIVERING EXCELLENCE IN EYE SURGERY CARE
At MEDiSURG, our commitment to excellence isn’t just a promise—it’s a practice we live every day. A recent experience exemplifies this dedication. At MEDiSURG, we strive each year to improve and deliver exceptional service, always putting our customers at the forefront of everything we do. Innovation is at the heart of our approach as we continually seek new ways to support our customers in meeting their needs and achieving the best possible outcomes for their patients. As you can see, these are some of the ways we supported our customers and our key accomplishments in 2024.
WE HELP IN REAL-TIME!
A busy eye surgery center faced unexpected equipment failure just hours before a full day of scheduled cataract surgeries. Our team immediately mobilized. Through our TELETECH video service platform, we diagnosed the issue in real-time and dispatched a technician to the site. Thanks to our swift action and expertise, the equipment was repaired, and the surgeries proceeded without delay. The surgeon later expressed gratitude, saying, “MEDiSURG saved the day and ensured our patients received the care they needed.”
This story is just one example of how MEDiSURG’s expertise and customer-first approach set us apart.
WE DID GREAT WORK!
Exceptional Customer Satisfaction: We are proud to maintain a 98% customer satisfaction rate across all our services, including preventive maintenance (PM) and training programs.
WE BECAME A PROVIDER OF CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS! (CEUs/CEC’s)
PM Training for HTMs: Now offering 24 CEUs for live training and 4 CEUs for online courses, providing essential professional development for Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) professionals. MEDiSURG is pre-approved by AAMI to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for Biomedical Engineers and Healthcare Technicians through our Live Centurion & Constellation PM courses and our Online Centurion Course.
WE BUILT MORE TRAINING FOR YOU!
OR Training for Surgical Staff: Available both in-person and live online, ensuring flexibility and convenience for surgical staff.
How does proper training for OR (Operating Room) staff benefit surgical procedures? It can lead to reduced downtime, safer and faster surgeries, improved communication, and minimized waste, all of which contribute to better patient outcomes and greater operational efficiency.
Additionally, training surgical staff can save money by equipping them with the knowledge to troubleshoot issues independently, reducing the need for external support.
CONTINUED SUPPORT FOR MACHINES BEING PHASED OUT.
Continued Support for Alcon Infiniti Machines: Despite being phased out, MEDiSURG continues to provide reliable PM services, ensuring these systems remain operational and effective.
Supporting Systems Alcon No Longer Services: MEDiSURG assists customers whose INFINITI systems are no longer supported by Alcon. For example, we recently helped a client with hundreds of cassettes in stock whose INFINITI system went down. While Alcon declined to service the system, MEDiSURG stepped in, restored functionality, and ensured the system remained operational until the existing cassette stock was depleted. This allowed the account to transition smoothly to a new system without wasted resources.
These accomplishments for 2024, paired with our dedication to going above and beyond for our customers, reflect our mission to deliver comprehensive solutions and support our partners in achieving excellence in eye surgery care.
